Financial Planning During Cancer Treatment Seminar

Cancer is the number one killer in Hong Kong. Unfortunately, cancer patients and their caregivers will face huge financial and psychological pressures and need support from many aspects. Following the online lectures held by the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society last year, the Society will continue to share specific financial planning tips with patients and caregivers in physical form twice this year.

The first lecture was held on January 18 (Saturday), with Dr. Yu Shuoheng, Vice President (Development), Liu Baomin, member of the Board of Directors, and Liu Qiming, member of the Member Services Committee, sharing with more than 30 participants the financial planning and budgeting during treatment, the adjustment of mentality and finances, and the choice of going to the mainland for medical treatment. When the Q&A time was up, the participants asked questions about treatment costs, insurance claims, and medical treatment in the mainland, and the 2-hour and 30-minute lecture passed in a flash.
